- Probably, but directing somebody to an appropriate newsgroup is the only
- correct response for the question. The alternative would be a proliferation
- of off-topic threads in comp.lang.c which is highly undesirable. It is better
- that they be nipped in the bud. It is also the best advice and help to the
- original poster since it directs them to somewhere where they can discuss
- their question in depth with a readership who have a better chance of
- knowing the subject. Posting to the appropriate newsgroup is best for
- everybody concerned.
